Are You In Compliance With U.S. Rules for Load Brokers? How do these rules affect Canadian based load brokers?

The NTBA Board of Directors is pleased to announce that our first event for 2014 will be held in Mississauga on Wednesday, April 16th.  The topic for this dinner meeting is Are You In Compliance With U.S. Rules for Load Brokers? The NTBA has commissioned a reputable U.S. based transportation law firm to determine the registration requirements with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMSCA) for Canadian domicilied load brokers.  New U.S. legislation requires that all load brokers should be registered with the FMCSA and possess a $75,000 surety bond.  Mr. David M. Krueger, Transportation Lawyer with Benesch Attorneys at Law, Cleveland, OH will present his firm's finding at this NTBA event.

This is a must attend event that is open to all NTBA members in good standing, guests and prospective new NTBA members.  Registration is free for paid up NTBA members (one ticket per member company) and is $65 for each guest and/or prospective new member.  The event, which includes a networking hour, cash bar and dinner is to be held in Mississauga (see link to registration form for details).  We are anticipating a very high level of interest.

You MUST PRE-REGISTER for this event by sending in the registration form.
